No Happy Nonsense

RSS Never Even Left

Hey guess what!

I updated the RSS Feed Maker sheet. It now will let you create an rss feed that hosts all the content of a given post within the feed, not just the description with the link to your website.

Here's a snapshot of the sheet:

And here's the link to the new RSS Maker sheet.

You can't edit it directly but you can download a copy and then use that for your own RSS feed needs. Take heed of the warnings about pasting the article content when using the sheet, and also make sure you close all your tags or the RSS feed itself won't work.

Also, I'm not sure if this matters or not but it currently works for my feed so I thought I'd offer it here; I have the below pasted at the tippy-top of my XML file, and so I guess you should to:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<rss version="2.0"
xmlns:content="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/content/"
xmlns:wfw="http://wellformedweb.org/CommentAPI/"
xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/"
xmlns:atom="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom"
xmlns:sy="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/syndication/"
xmlns:slash="http://purl.org/rss/1.0/modules/slash/">

Anyone interested in learning more about RSS feeds and how they work and how to make your own (but like, a good version) should google it because I'm an idiot and can't help you.
