Details: Legs felt tired and a little sore all day. First mile/mile and a half of the run felt dreadful; legs of stone and hotter than I'd like (75 degrees approx.) Pushed through and got into a numbed out middle stretch of the run along the usual route. By mile 7 the idea of quitting was firmly cemented into the top of my brain. Since my route is more or less a direct line home once I get to the halfway point, there was no point to stopping as it'd only take me longer to get home than if I just ran the rest of the way, so that's what I did.
