Distance: 8.80 miles
Ascent: 472 feet
Descent: 452 feet
Details: I planned to run a few miles, maybe 4 or 5, but when I got to my turn-around point I felt absolutely great, so I just kept going. I found exactly where the sidewalk ends on my current known-route. It's funny how there's so little infrastructure for pedestrians like that; you can traverse for miles on sidewalks or at least in very un-busy parking lots where sidewalks would be, but then all of a sudden the curb ends and you're just looking at a four-lane highway, no way to move on foot without being subjected to oncoming metal deathboxes.
I'll find more safe routes, though. That's part of the fun.
